Daily cardio - staying fit and lean while maintaining muscle

I am currently in prep for WNBF Worlds where I will be competing in the PRO Figure category.  As part of my daily 20 minute cardio routines I usually incorporate alternating days of HIIT (high intensity interval training) and moderate cardio. During my HIIT sessions I have been either sprinting outside or training on the treadmill or stairmaster. On my moderate cardio days I tend to stick with the eliptical and/or stairs.

I love my HIIT days because it speeds up my metabolism and sends my body into a bit of a shock helping it lean out faster in my trouble areas.

All of my workouts are fueled by my diet from my amazing coach +Bill Murphy and supplements from my sponsor +Athletic Xtreme (www.athleticx.net)

Sharing is Caring:
I recently found this awesome article on a new HIIT regimen on the stationary bike - and thought I would share with all of you.  The session focuses on gaining muscle in your legs while leaning them out.  I can't wait to try it and look forward to updating everyone on my thoughts and results.
